About Us

Jewish Life Now®

Our goal at Jewish Life Now is to Inspire the world, one Jew at a time. We are all about reflecting the best of who we are. We feel the time is long overdue to remind the world and perhaps, more importantly, ourselves, of the amazing and inspiring Jewish people that influence our lives.

Jewish Life Now is exploring new territory in Jewish journalism.

Our tribe is a heterogeneous lot. Our diversity and pluralism are assets. Jewish Life Now® reflects that. We believe we can be both beautiful and gritty, entertaining, and deep. Sometimes we will be provocative.

Whatever your Jewish identity, however deep your Jewish involvement, or lack thereof, Jewish Life Now® is the magazine for and about you.

Cindy Saltzman

Publisher & Editorial Director of Jewish Life Now

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Cindy graduated from Brandeis University and became VP of Sales and Marketing for an international garden products manufacturer that created products for Disney and Costco to name a few.

She then set out to Israel to raise her young family and run several successful real estate offices.
“Learning to navigate and negotiate in the business world in Israel taught me more than I probably ever would have learned at Harvard business school.”

Cindy’s magazine career began in 2004 working for regional magazines in California. However, in 2006, she was recruited to publish a woman’s magazine for a publicly traded media company. By 2012, she was ready to branch out on her own and created the award-winning Oregon Jewish Life and Arizona Jewish life magazines. While continuing to run both publications, Cindy decided it was time to realize her dream of creating an engaging and beautiful international lifestyle magazine for and about the Jewish community. Thus, the concept of Jewish Life Now was born.
